Overview
Job Title: Admin Assistant and Breakfast Club Supervisor
A Breakfast Club and Admin Assistant is required to join our lovely team in our very busy school and office at Liphook Infant School.
Hours 7.30am – 8.40am for Breakfast Club, and 8.40am – 3.40pm in the school office, Monday to Friday, term time only, with a one-hour lunch break.
We are looking for someone who has excellent administrative and organisational skills with a positive approach and outlook. We have a great team of staff who are supportive, creative and focused on providing the best education for all children. Should you wish to visit the school please phone to arrange a convenient time.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a calm, welcoming, and professional reception to all visitors
- Manage the school diary, newsletters, and administrative deadlines
- Ensure school events are effectively promoted through appropriate channels
- Maintain accurate data entry and reporting
- Handle information with sensitivity and confidentiality
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing interruptions
- Administer first aid and medication where required (training provided if necessary)
Person Specification
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Arbor or similar school systems is desirable (training provided)
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- Educated to a good standard, including GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is Scale B step 3. (FTE £25,128). You will be paid pro rata for 45.62 weeks per year (this includes holiday pay) and your salary will be paid in equal amounts over 12 months.
