Clubs

Liphook Federation offers a variety of extra-curricular clubs that take place after school.  Please see our timetable with details of all clubs and activities.

How to Book

All clubs have a maximum number of children that can attend, so you will only be able to book available places.  Club places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please contact the school office if your child was unable to get a place and we will put them on the waiting list.

Each term, you will be invited to book clubs, together with payment information, for the following term.  If you wish to pay using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare, please contact the office.

Conditions of booking

  • If you reserve a place for your child, their place is conditional until payment has been received and will be withdrawn if payment is not made by the date stated. For parents who would like their children to join a club but will have difficulty paying, please speak to Mr Braham, Mrs Garforth or Mrs Taylor when applying.
  • Should your child withdraw from the club, then we are unable to refund any money due to having already booked the teacher, if there is a child waiting to join the club then we may be able to transfer the place dependent upon the type of club being run.
  • If a chargeable club is cancelled, then we will try to arrange an additional date or a refund will be given for the missed lesson.

Behaviour

We expect exemplary behaviour at after school clubs.  If your child misbehaves, we will advise you; if misbehaviour continues, they may be asked to leave the club.

Collection of pupils after clubs

All infant pupils should be collected from clubs at 4:15pm and junior pupils at 4:30pm, unless otherwise stated.  Please ensure your child is collected promptly as the club organiser is unable to leave until all pupils have left the school premises.

It is VITAL that an adult lets the OFFICE know if your child will NOT be attending a club as we register all children to ensure their safety.  If a child does not attend, we assume they are missing and we do not wish to cause any unnecessary worry to the school or yourself if your child has simply decided to go home.

A register is taken by the club organiser at the beginning of each club.  If your child is unable to attend, please advise the school office and the register will be updated.  To ensure the safety of your child, you will be contacted if your child does not arrive for a club and we have not been informed.  On occasions, it may be necessary to cancel a club; in this instance, parents will be sent an email, and you will need to contact the school office to confirm your child can be dismissed at the end of the school day.  Please contact the school office if you wish to make alternative arrangements on a particular day.
