Digital Learning

At Liphook Federation, we embrace technology to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils benefit from engaging, interactive, and personalised learning experiences. By integrating technology effectively, we support the development of critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy, equipping children with the skills they need for an ever-evolving world. Our approach ensures that technology is used purposefully - to enhance learning, not replace it - empowering our pupils to become confident, capable, and connected learners.

From Year 1, pupils benefit from 1:1 devices, enabling seamless integration of digital learning. We also use assistive technology, e.g. Clicker 8 and Immersive Reader, to ensure that every child can fully engage with their learning, providing personalised support tailored to individual needs.

  • In the Infant School, we use Seesaw, a digital learning platform that makes learning more engaging, interactive, and accessible. Pupils can showcase their work through photos, videos, drawings, and written reflections, fostering creativity and independence. Seesaw also strengthens home-school communication, allowing parents to stay connected with their child's progress.
  • As pupils move into the junior school, we introduce Microsoft OneNote, providing a more structured, collaborative, and advanced learning experience. These tools mirror those used in secondary education, helping pupils develop organisation, communication, and teamwork skills, ensuring a smooth transition to their next stage of learning.

Our commitment to purposeful technology ensures that all children have the skills, confidence, and digital fluency to thrive in the modern world.
