Our School Day

Supervision Before and After School

Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children before and after the school day. To ensure everyone’s safety, the outdoor play equipment is out of bounds during these times and football should not be played.

Arrival and Collection Procedures

Morning Arrival:

Classroom doors open at 8:40 am, allowing children time to settle into their early morning tasks. To foster independence, we kindly ask parents not to accompany their child into the cloakroom or classroom unless they need to speak briefly with the class teacher.

End-of-Day Collection:

At the end of the school day, parents and carers should wait outside the classroom or in the playground. Class teachers will dismiss children to ensure they are safely accounted for and receive any letters or items to take home. Infants and Year 3 children will be handed over directly to their parent or carer. 

Parking & Safety:

To ensure the safety of all, parents are not permitted to use the staff car parks due to limited space and the risk of accidents. If you require accessible parking, please ensure your blue badge is visible and the blue badge holder is present. When parking near the school, we kindly ask all parents and carers to be considerate and avoid blocking pathways or driveways.
