School Improvement Priorities

Priority 1 In the light of the National Curriculum and Assessment Review, refresh our school curriculum and assessment processes with a particular focus on our vulnerable children i.e.: pupils on the SEND register and pupils on the pupil premium register.

Priority 2 Through a well-structured approach, further develop pupils’ verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as the ability to listen effectively, in order to develop confident speech, language and oracy for every child.

Priority 3 Further develop a high-quality digital education to enhance online safety, computational thinking, and the use of technology to enhance learning.  To support the children and their families to develop the skills and knowledge required to be effective, safe, and discerning users of a range of technology.  To embrace technology to drive school efficiency.

Priority 4 Further promote the wellbeing and mental health of pupils, families, and staff.

Priority 5 Embed the Federation’s new vision ‘We are all loved.  We all belong.  We all have something to give.’ and new values: Loving-kindness, Respect and Aspiration.  Further develop the Christian ethos of the Junior School.
